Elinor (Elly) Nygren Szapiro, MA LPC is a licensed psychotherapist, spiritual guide and nondual coach, in practice for over thirty years. For most of her life, she has been on a journey to know ‘truth’ and to share this ‘knowing’ with others. Her teaching style is warm, compassionate, down- to-earth, as well as clear and insightful.
She has lectured/presented trainings locally and nationally on spirituality and healing and is a former faculty member in the Naropa University Contemplative Psychology department. She also enjoys humor and has been a member of a comedy troupe for 15 years.
She offers individual sessions and workshops to help people tap into their natural sense of peace and freedom, and to gently release whatever is perceived to be ‘in the way’ of that experience.
Bruce is a woodworker and business owner by trade. He believes that Life, in whichever way it presents itself in each moment, holds the key to any possible attainment or understanding. Being open to the Heart in any situation can create an opening into the vast mystery of existence. This can happen in relationship with another, or in the depths of oneself. The key is to move from an honest and direct experience of the present moment – courageously embracing reality as it presents itself – and the opportunity to do that always exists. We don’t have to go looking for it.
Bruce has been an active meditator for over 40 years, having studied extensively with Chogyam Trungpa, Peter Fenner, Tom Heckel, Sheikha Fariha of the Nur-Ashki-Jerrahi Sufi order , and Adyashanti – but his greatest teacher has always been his heart.
